FREN 1140 - Elementary French I (3)

An introduction to the basis of the French language. Fundamentals of pronunciation, structure, and vocabulary prepare the students to carry on simple conversations in everyday, concrete situations. The four communication skills (listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing) are developed within the cultural context of the target language.
