Curriculum Requirements

The CEMA concentrations are especially suited for the student who is very interested in computing and engineering but does not want to specialize too early into any one of those directions.  It offers students an opportunity to study pure and applied mathematics as essential components of modern engineering. The course and laboratory development in the project would infuse engineering principles and design in the curriculum with special emphasis on problem solving and developing communication and team working skills. With a requirement of a capstone design project, the engineering skills of the students will be enhanced and strengthened. It is expected that the CEMA concentrations will provide a wider range of career options for the students.
