The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.S. of I.T) is a degree program with two concentrations in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics. The B.S. of I.T. offers our prospective students’ opportunities to learn and experience both the business and technical aspects of Cybersecurity and Data Analytic and how their alignments create business value, help businesses in their decision making processes and solve business opportunities and problems. The Cybersecurity concentration will provide opportunities for our students to acquire hands-on experiences and will include some of the high demand skillsets such as a computer security, cyber defense and countermeasures, forensics and regulatory compliance. The Data Analytic concentration will provide opportunities in scientific data analysis and visualization, predictive analysis, prescriptive modeling and optimization, simulation, data-mining and classification.

1. 120 Credit Hours:

Complete a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 for all course work completed at North Carolina Central University.

Complete prerequisite courses with a grade of “C” or better
