Curriculum Requirements


The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.S of I.T) is a degree program with three concentrations in Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). The B.S. of I.T. offers our prospective students’ opportunities to learn and experience both the business and technical aspects of Cybersecurity and Data Analystics and general Information Communication and Technology concepts, and demonstrates how their alignments create business value, help businesses in their decision making processes and solve business opportunities and problems. The Cybersecurity concentration will provide opportunities for our students to acquire hands-on experiences and will include some of the high demand skillsets such as computer security, cyber defense and countermeasures, forensics and regulatory compliance. The Data Analytics concentration will provide opportunities in scientific data analysis and visualization, predictive analysis, prescriptive modeling and optimization, simulation, data-mining and classification. The Information Communication and Technology concentration will provide opportunities for students to acquire core/required Information Technology skills (for example, Business Programming, Project Management, Database Management Systems, Systems Analysis, etc.) and then use their electives to specialize in ICT specific skills (like Network Management, Entrepreneurship, IT Strategy, Web Development, etc.)
