Interdisciplinary Studies, Communication Arts Concentration, B.A.


Curriculum Requirements


The Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies offers an alternative program of study for students whose objectives are not met by the university’s current majors.  The degree is especially attractive to students who are interested in designing individual programs that suit their educational and career goals or for students who wish to study a particular concentration through an interdisciplinary selection of courses. 

1. 120 Credit Hours:


Achieve a minimum grade point average of 2.0 overall with no grade lower than a “C” in any degree core or concentration course.  The last 30 hours must be completed at NCCU.

2. General Education Requirement:


Complete General Education Curriculum  required by the university.

3. Departmental/Program Requirements:

Program requirements: Students must complete a total of 30 hours in Interdisciplinary (IDS) Core courses with grades of ‘C’ or better as follows:
