HEDU 3420 - Principles of School Health (3)

Prerequisites: EDU 3000  and EDU 3010  or permission of the instructor. This course provides an overview of the principles of a coordinated school health program, current health issues in the classroom, the National Health Education Standards, classroom diversity, and assessments (including performance-based assessment). Effective classroom activities used in teaching health will be included.
