EDSH 4750 - Communication Sciences and Disorders (3)
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the scientific study of human communication and communication disorders. The course provides an overview of the biological systems of speech, language, and hearing and basic understanding of the nature and treatment of communication disorders across the lifespan. In addition, the course is intended to increase awareness of communication disorders and the roles and responsibilities of speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
