OVERVIEW
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) supports North Carolina Central University’s commitment to excellence in scholarship, teaching, and service. There are eleven departments in the College with eight of the eleven offering the master’s degree in several academic programs. The College also houses the doctoral program in Integrated Biosciences that has two tracks in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Instruction at the graduate level in the College is structured to broaden and deepened the theoretical and practical knowledge base of the students such that they acquire the proficiency and expertise necessary to become leaders in their various fields of studies.
